Vasilissa Melissa natural honey is collected from remote apiaries located in pristine forests and meadows of the Poltava region of Ukraine. It does not contain pesticides, antibiotics and any other impurities associated with human activities.
Hundreds of honey plants with healing properties grow in their natural environment in the protected areas of Ukraine. This variety of flowers gives our honey its unique taste and full-bodied flavor.
RAW
The real raw unrefined honey is processed without any heat treatment. Honey straight from the hive is full of life – it contains vitamins, minerals, bacteria and enzymes that contribute to health.
UNFILTERED
Unfiltered honey is a unique product that may contain small parts of pollen, wax, propolis. Unfiltered honey has antimicrobial properties and high-quality chemical composition.
ANTIBIOTICS FREE
Natural honey should not contain uncharacteristic substances for its natural composition. Our honey is regularly tested in specialized laboratories to prove its purity from impurities and antibiotics.

The name of our honey Vasilissa Melissa is based on ancient myths.
According to Greek mythology Melissa, the daughter of the Cretan king Melissey, was a nymph who discovered and taught the use of honey and from whom bees were believed to have received their name. She was one of the nymphs of baby Zeus and fed him with honey.
Zeus, forever grateful to Melissa for his salvation, transformed Melissa into Vasilissa, the queen of the bees.
Сenturies millions of bees cared for people just as Melissa took care of Zeus. It is the turn of the people to return their debt to them.
Our mission is to preserve the population of bees, without which the ecological well-being of the planet is impossible. To this end, Vasilissa Melissa is working on the selection and improvement of the genetic material of bees. Vasilissa Melissa is also a partner of the Futura Foundation, which deals with the conservation of natural pollinators in collaboration with leading entomologists of Ukraine.
